Hi, I'm Jolene.

I believe technology should make life easier—not more complicated.

Over the years, I've discovered that most people don't come to me because they simply need a new website. They come to me because something isn't working, something feels overwhelming, or they know there's a better way but aren't sure where to start.

Sometimes it's an outdated website.

Sometimes it's a confusing collection of domains, logins, and online accounts.

Sometimes it's a nonprofit board trying to keep a project moving with limited time and many volunteers.

Whatever the challenge, my first step is always the same:

Listen. Ask questions. Find the missing pieces.

My Story

Aurora Pixel Services grew from years of helping businesses, nonprofits, tourism organizations, and community groups navigate the ever-changing digital world.

Along the way, I realized I wasn't just building websites.

I was helping people solve problems.

Again and again, I found myself uncovering issues that weren't immediately obvious—a forgotten domain name, outdated systems, missing information, unclear processes, or digital tools that simply weren't working together.

Those discoveries taught me something important:

The website usually isn't the problem.

It's often just the place where the real problem becomes visible.

That's why every project begins with understanding your business first.

Every business has a story. Every challenge has a solution. The first step is understanding both.

Experience That Matters

My background includes more than 25 years of administrative experience, along with extensive work in website design, social media management, learning management systems, digital administration, tourism, and nonprofit organizations.

Every project has taught me something new.

Working with community organizations has shown me the challenges of limited budgets, volunteer boards, and balancing many priorities.

Working with businesses has reinforced the importance of practical solutions that save time, reduce frustration, and support long-term growth.

Those experiences shape how I approach every client relationship.

Beyond the Screen

When I'm not working with clients, you'll often find me involved in community projects, exploring local history, supporting heritage organizations, or helping visitors discover the stories that make our communities unique.

Those experiences remind me that every business has a story worth telling.

Technology is simply one of the tools we use to share it.
