About Me

Hey, I’m Jolene — the face behind Aurora Pixel Services.
I help small businesses, non-profits, and creatives show up confidently online through custom websites, online administrative support, and expert management of LMS and CMS platforms.

Born in the Yukon, the Aurora in my business name is a nod to my northern roots. Just like the northern lights, I believe digital work should be striking, meaningful, and full of heart.

​

I hold an Associate Certificate in Applied Computer Applications from BCIT and have completed most of the coursework for the Associate Certificate in Applied Web Development. Alongside my tech training, I’ve studied photography, payroll, English, accounting, and drawing—giving me a unique mix of creative and practical skills that shape every project I take on.

​

Over the past eight years, I’ve worked in the tourism industry on destination development, COVID-19 relief initiatives, research, and newsletters. More recently, I’ve been managing a Learning Management System (Tovuti), helping tourism operators navigate online training—from onboarding and course access to progress tracking. I’ve supported organizations by keeping their websites accurate, up to date, and easy to navigate. I also have hands-on experience with HubSpot, using it to streamline communication, organize content, and enhance engagement.

With years of administrative experience and a solid foundation in both design and technology, I offer a versatile toolkit to every client collaboration. My experience spans a wide range of software and web-based platforms, including:
